Job Description: The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will play a pivotal role in leading and shaping the operational strategies that drive the organization’s mission of community empowerment. The COO will oversee program execution across focus areas, ensuring alignment with organizational values and a high impact on target communities.
Key Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement strategic program leadership to expand initiatives in social protection, financial inclusion, and livelihood enhancement, ensuring impactful and community-specific outcomes.
2. Drive digital literacy and cybersecurity initiatives to empower underserved communities with technological awareness and safe online practices.
3. Oversee health awareness initiatives to expand outreach programs aimed at preventive health measures and overall community well-being.
4. Develop and support programs to advance women’s leadership and engage young talent, embedding core values of inclusion and diversity into all organizational activities.
5. Ensure ethical operations management to adhere to the mission, ethical standards, and best practices, building trust within communities and among stakeholders.
6. Manage financial resources effectively to ensure sustainability and maximize the impact of programs.
7. Foster strong relationships with community stakeholders to enhance program reach and effectiveness.
8. Streamline operational processes to improve efficiency and program delivery.
9. Lead cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and collaborative program execution.
10. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure alignment with strategic goals and continuous improvement.
11. Advocate for innovative solutions to address community challenges and drive social impact.
12. Mentor and develop team members to foster a culture of learning and professional growth.

Qualifications: 8-12 years of leadership experience within an NGO setting, with a background in program management, community development, and operations oversight.
