Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll, Benefits, and Compliance Lead to manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance with statutory regulations, and administer employee benefits effectively. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate payroll operations and ensuring adherence to legal requirements.
Key Responsibility:
1. Develop and oversee payroll management processes to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements and compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
2. Ensure financial alignment by collaborating with the finance team to integrate payroll entries with the general ledger and financial statements.
3. Enhance customer satisfaction by resolving payroll discrepancies and addressing employee inquiries promptly.
4. Streamline payroll processes by identifying areas for automation and process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy.
5. Lead and facilitate statutory compliance by ensuring adherence to labor laws and regulations, including PF, ESI, and tax deductions.
6. Administer employee benefits programs to ensure proper communication and understanding of policies among employees.
7. Develop and update payroll policies to align with company objectives and regulatory changes.
8. Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with statutory and financial requirements.
9. Identify and mitigate potential risks in payroll processing to ensure business continuity.
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll and compliance activities seamlessly with other business functions.
11. Act as a subject matter expert to provide guidance on payroll and compliance-related queries from internal teams.
12. Lead and mentor the payroll team to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

Qualifications: 8-12 years of experience in payroll management and compliance within a manufacturing or industrial setup, preferably at a leadership level.
