Job Openings Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the job Talent Acquisition Specialist

I am looking for a proactive and personable Talent Acquisition Specialist to join my team as a direct report. In this role, you wont just be filling "headcount"; you will be a strategic partner helping us shape the future of our organisation. Youll be the first point of contact for our future colleagues, ensuring their journey with us is seamless, professional, and genuinely engaging.

What the Role Entails:

  • End-to-End Ownership: Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial briefing and sourcing to offer management and pre-boarding.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Using your expertise in LinkedIn Recruiter and niche networks to identify and engage with passive "top-tier" talent.
  • Candidate Experience: Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring every candidate—successful or otherwise—has a positive and transparent experience.
  • Hiring Manager Partnership: Working closely with me and other leads to define requirements and provide data-led insights on the current market landscape.
  • Process Improvement: Constantly looking for ways to streamline our hiring workflows and enhance our employer brand presence in the UK market.

About You:

  • Proven Track Record: At least 1–3 years of experience in recruitment (either agency or in-house).
  • The "Human" Touch: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly and negotiate with integrity.
  • Tech-Savvy: Highly proficient with ATS platforms and advanced Boolean search techniques.
  • Resilience: A calm, organised approach to managing multiple vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using data to track progress and refine recruitment strategies.

Why Work with Me?

  • Empowerment over Oversight: I value autonomy. Im here to provide guidance and remove blockers, not to micromanage your desk.
  • Professional Development: You will have a seat at the table for broader HR projects and strategic talent initiatives.
  • Culture of Support: We foster a collaborative environment where "done is better than perfect" and well-being is genuinely prioritised.
