Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
About the Role
Mfinite Consulting is seeking a Problem-Solving Court Case Manager to support the District Court, District Eleven, serving Frederick and Washington Counties. The Case Manager will play a crucial role in delivering services to participants of the Problem-Solving Court Program, Mental Health Court Program, and Veterans Court Program. These programs aim to reduce incarceration, enhance public safety, and break the cycle of criminal recidivism.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage individualized case plans for program participants.
- Facilitate access to services, monitor participant progress, and provide ongoing support.
- Prepare and maintain case notes, weekly reports, agreements, and documentation in AIMS.
- Support participants with housing, education, vocational training, health services, legal assistance, and family services.
- Assist participants in meeting judicial directives and program obligations.
- Conduct program evaluations and establish new partnerships to enhance service offerings.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and court proceedings.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Business Management, Behavioral Management, Public Health, Sociology, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of fieldwork or case management experience in addictions, human/family services, health services, public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or court management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- Proficiency in case management within clinical or criminal justice settings.
- Strong skills in problem-solving, empathy, active listening, and effective communication.
- Experience with data management systems and a solid understanding of mental health services.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, foster partnerships, and adapt to changing program needs.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with judicial teams.
- Proficient in facilitating meetings and giving presentations.
Work Environment
- Onsite Requirement: Approximately 90% of work will be performed onsite at the Frederick County District Court.
- Fieldwork: Approximately 10% of work may involve fieldwork to support participant needs.
- Remote Work: May be authorized at the discretion of the Contract Manager.
