Role Overview:

The IT Programmer Analyst Lead will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of software applications and systems.
• Perform detailed system analysis and design to address complex business needs.
• Write, test, and debug programs to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Oversee application integration and data migration projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs, processes, and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state IT standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or programming.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing or mentoring technical teams.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, .NET, Python, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of database systems, including SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks (e.g., Angular, React).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with state or federal government IT projects.
• Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or PMP).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

Work Environment:

• Primarily remote with occasional on-site work required at client locations in Maryland.
• Flexible schedule with adherence to project deadlines and deliverables.
