Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team on a full-time basis. The Database Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our clients' databases, ensuring their security, availability, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases. They should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Job Description: The Database Specialist will manage and maintain databases, ensuring data integrity and performance. Responsibilities include SQL Server and Oracle database management, web services, and database design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain databases.
- Ensure data integrity and performance.
- Perform SQL Server and Oracle database management.
- Develop web services and database design.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience with SQL Server, Oracle, SOAP, Web Services, SOA, UML, PL/SQL, and DB2.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Work Locations:
- Work must be performed on-site at all DPSCS locations across the State, with potential authorization for remote work at the discretion of the Contract Monitor.
- Primary work locations include DPSCS Reisterstown Road Plaza Office Center (RPOC) in Baltimore, MD, and Maryland State Police (MSP) in Pikesville, MD.
- Secondary work locations include various DPSCS facilities across the State.
