Responsibilities

Conceptualization and Design

Lead brainstorming sessions and strategize with internal teams or external vendors on a wide range of materials such as clients proposals and presentations, internal communications, and marketing materials.

Create and execute compelling creative concepts within established brand identities.

Visualize strategies and develop original high-quality innovative designs in line with business needs.

Use trend intelligence and knowledge of historical and current markets and remain on the forefront of the latest trends when designing and executing deliverables.

Propose viable solutions and finalise projects related to Strategy& and to its clients.

Undertake projects and day-to-day interactions with clients and vendors autonomously, from briefing to conceptualization and design.

Ensure high quality deliverables in an efficient and timely manner.

Project Planning and Scheduling

Collaborate with PDM, CSM, internal and vendors Workflow Coordinators in project planning including but not limited to tasks breakdown, time estimation and project framework i.e. resources and final output definition.

Project Control and Quality Assurance

Promote correct use of firm templates and branding guidelines.

Ensure his/her projects meet client expectations in terms of quality, timeline, strategy, and budget.

Conduct quality assurance and review of own and peers' projects prior to client dispatch, including but not limited to proofreading, compliance with brand guidelines, and adherence to pre-production standards.

People Agenda and Relationships

Conduct the VCS induction and coach staff on specialty software as needed.

Train Graphic Design hires on Strategy& processes, brand standards, and VCS tools.

Promote ownership, transparency, self-development and a positive team spirit.


Reporting and Administration

Submit reports to PDM and CSM in a timely manner (iPower, booking system entries, etc.).

Manage and compile all final output to update the VCS portfolio and archive.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

Qualifications

Graphic Design, UX/UI design, or Art Direction college degree

Minimum 8 years experience in a similar position

Experience in graphic and presentation design

Skills

Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite with a focus on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and

After Effects. UX/UI knowledge is a plus

Good knowledge of interactive PowerPoint, motion graphics and video animation. Broad knowledge of other relevant software (Word, Excel)

Fluency in spoken and written English and Arabic

Initiate and maintain cooperative relationships with co-workers, managers, client staff and Strategy& clients

Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner

Take direction and accept criticism constructively

Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices

Cooperate with team members and superiors to promote a positive, healthy, and efficient team environment

Proactively participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
