Job Purpose

To lead and drive business development activities within ADNOC and the UAE Oil & Gas sector, focusing on securing new projects, building strategic relationships, and expanding AGS's market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end BD activities within ADNOC and its group companies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities including EPC, maintenance, supply and field service contracts
  • Manage the full BD cycle:
    • Lead generation
    • Client engagement
    • Prequalification and vendor registration
    • Tendering and proposal development
    • Negotiation and contract closing
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with:
    • ADNOC stakeholders
    • EPC contractors
    • Strategic partners
  • Drive market intelligence, tracking upcoming projects, competitor activities, and industry trends
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, commercial, operations) to ensure competitive and compliant proposals
  • Support senior management in defining market entry and growth strategies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Business Development within the O&G Industry.
  • Proven experience working with ADNOC and UAE Oil & Gas market
  • Demonstrated success in securing and closing major contracts/projects.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • ADNOC vendor registration and prequalification processes
    • Tendering and procurement procedures
    • Contracting strategies in Oil & Gas

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong network and relationships within ADNOC and EPC contractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Commercial acumen with strong understanding of project economics
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution approach
  • Knoewledge about companeis formation in Abu Dhabi is a plus.

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

  • Achieve ADNOC prequalification and vendor registration milestones
  • Build a qualified pipeline (value to be defined) within the first 6 months
  • Secure 1–2 major contracts within 6 months.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with key industry players

Key Success Factors

  • Strong local market presence and relationships in Abu Dhabi
  • Proven ability to convert opportunities into awarded projects
  • Ability to position AGS as a preferred service provider

  • Preference for candidates with existing ADNOC relationships
