Summary of Position

The Technology Manager will drive the technological vision and strategy of Swiss Butter, overseeing the development, implementation, and management of digital products and systems. This role ensures scalability, security, and efficiency while enabling the companys regional and global growth strategy. The manager will lead key technology initiatives such as business intelligence dashboards, consumer-facing apps, loyalty programs, and inventory systems, ensuring seamless integration across all operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic Technology Planning
  • Define and implement a technology roadmap aligned with Swiss Butters regional and global growth objectives.
  • Evaluate existing tools and systems to determine whether to maintain, replace, or innovate.
  • Integrate future-proof technologies, particularly AI/ML capabilities, to improve operations and customer experience.

Digital Product Development

  • Oversee the design, development, and launch of key digital products, including business intelligence dashboards, loyalty programs, and mobile apps.
  • Ensure the creation of scalable, secure, and efficient technology stacks and system architectures.
  • Drive innovation by leading the development of new tools such as e-commerce platforms and digital gift card solutions.

Team Leadership and Vendor Management

  • Select, manage, and evaluate external vendors, agencies, and technology partners.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to align objectives.
  • Build and mentor an internal technology team while managing outsourced projects as necessary.

Performance and System Optimization

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure the success of technology initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and implement improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data security standards and industry regulations.

  • Successful, on-time delivery of digital projects.

  • Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in technology management, ideally in hospitality or retail.
  • Proven expertise in executing complex technology projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies and cloud computing.
  • Familiarity with systems like Bayzat, Omega, and Sprout Social is a plus.
