This position reports to the Career Development & Staffing Manager/Associate Manager
Job Overview: Manage the allocation of client facing management consultants on projects and business
development activities by working closely with the Staffing Manager, Practice Seniors and
Business Operations Team.
Supports the Staffing Manager in suggesting and implementing departmental improvements.
Responsibilities
-Interact daily with Partners, Principals, Managers and Business Operations Team
members to understand requirements in terms of open needs on projects, required support on marketing/non billable work.
-Suggest staffing allocations by matching available resources to projects by balancing
business and personal needs (development needs and preferences):
*Develop an understanding of current staff profiles and skills to aid in optimal
allocation of staff to projects.
*Ensure smooth integration of new hires by suggesting suitable projects and
allocating them on business development activities.
*Manage the allocation of Summer Interns (Associates and Senior Associates) to
projects in line with constraints (timing, nature of work, industry preferences, etc..).
-Close the loop through continuously communicating with senior stakeholders on staffing
decisions and ensure accurate reflection of data on staffing logs.
-Collaborate with the Performance Management team to maintain a summarised repository
of general pool staffs development needs and refer to them as input to staffing decisions.
-Contribute to the continuous review and improvement of staffing reports and support in implementing new staffing tools and systems.
-Coordinate with staffing teams in other regions to manage cross regional staffing for
opportunities unable to be filled within the region as well as to explore mobility options for local staff.
Reporting
-Ensure accurate maintenance and timely communication of weekly staffing reports (open needs, master staffing sheet, availability, backlog, vacation leakage, newsletter, etc).
-Track staff deployment and utilization and suggest measures as required (rotations,
immediate staffing, etc..).
-Explore opportunities to automate and digitize departmental reports.
Capability
-Act as a key liaison to other functional areas of the business and build productive cross functional relationships especially with Business Operations, Finance and other HR teams.

University degree
3 years of relevant experience

Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
