Our client is a leading global consulting firm, helping the world's top businesses, governments and organizations. Looking for a new "Alumni Engagement Specialist" in their Beirut office.
Primary duties and responsibilities
Program and strategy
- Develop the marketing strategy for the Strategy& ME alumni program
- Drive all alumni marketing initiatives, from inception to implementation, including career placement services
- Work with Human Capital team to optimise the transition process and ensure maximum onboarding of leavers to ME alumni program during exit process
- Be the primary point of contact for any internal/external requests on alumni program
- Drive Strategy&-wide discussions on way forward in alumni relations, including championing new ideas and programs
- Plan for and oversee the alumni budget
Comms and content
- Build alumni communications plans and develop targeted programs and content to drive engagement and strengthen relationships with the firm
- Manage all communications, including the compilation and production of the ME alumni newsletter
- Lead outreach programs to alumni, including physical/digital mailings and email marketing campaigns via Salesforce
- Contribute alumni-related content for the firms official social media channels, ensuring that the material is fresh, engaging and interactive
- Develop an internal communications plan that clearly articulates the value, benefits and goals of the alumni program, and lays out the asks from the senior community
Platforms and data
- Own and drive the alumni community in Salesforce Experience Cloud (SFEC) in coordination with regional
- and global teams from PwC and SF, including innovating and improving the platform, and articulating/driving/monitoring change requests with technical teams
- Continuously manage the platform by migrating new members, creating a strong content pipeline, and facilitating discussions
- Own the technical integration among related systems (Workday, SF CRM, SF Marketing Cloud, SFEC) and map workflows
- Build and sustain a community environment for alumni to turn to, be part of and thrive in. Leverage tools within the platform to promote discussions, groups, events, etc. to promote sense of inclusion. Invite content
- leaders/owners to stimulate intellectual/conducive conversations
- Manage other alumni platforms including the global alumni website and ME alumni LinkedIn group
- Be an integral member of the decision-making team involved in the launch of new Strategy& and PwC alumni
- systems, defining corporate direction and initiatives
- Manage the alumni database to ensure that it is accurate, that information is updated regularly, and that significant changes are communicated internally
- Manage career placement services and populate the careers portal. Liaise with staff and alumni to source and share job opportunities
Event Planning
- Plan and execute events, including regional and office-specific alumni gatherings that result in unique experiences
- Identify and execute alumni-focused activities (e.g. expert talks, industry-focused webinars, etc.)
Intelligence and insights
- Monitor and report on alumni program key performance indicators (KPIs), devising solutions to maintain strong performance and/or improve performance when needed
- Drive the development of reports and dashboards for senior stakeholders
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing - alumni relations preferred
- Experience in a corporate, professional services, or consulting environment strongly preferred
- Experience with web and digital content strongly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or other marketing/CRM software strongly preferred
- Experience in event planning, corporate and social
- Bachelors degree - preferably in business, marketing, communications, or related field
Skills:
- Understanding of digital marketing, including end to end user experience, process mapping and data flows
- Ability to work with marketing technology, with a willingness and ability to learn about new platforms quickly
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills confidence in using data insights to define, challenge and support business requirements
- Ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the business needs of the firm
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritise
- Strong relationship management skills
