The Role

Were hiring a Growth Lead to own Sovras go-to-market execution in Lebanon. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in early-stage environments: resourceful, data-driven, and creative in mobilizing users. Youll work closely with the CEO, Product, and Design teams (with strategic support from a fractional CMO). Your mandate: deliver 10,000 funded users in Lebanon within the next 12 months, achieve >70% retention, and maintain efficient CAC.

This role starts as an individual contributor with strong execution ownership and has the potential to grow into a leadership position as Sovra scales.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Acquisition

Design and run referral, ambassador, and voucher programs (including Sovra gift

cards).

Launch grassroots campaigns (campus reps, local shops, micro-influencers,

offline activations).

Manage digital acquisition channels, including WhatsApp, Instagram, TikTok, and

Facebook.

Experiment with incentives and campaigns to deliver >70% retention of funded

users.

Community & Retention

Build and manage engaged communities (Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) that drive

activation and retention.

Foster referral loops and ambassador engagement to boost conversion to funded

accounts.

Translate user research and community insights into actionable product feedback

for Product & Design teams.

Communications & Brand

Act as custodian of Sovras brand in partnership with the fractional CMO: uphold

brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging consistency across all channels.

Support storytelling, educational, and trust-building content that makes Sovra

simple and credible for users.

Collaborate with influencers and media outlets to expand Sovras reach while

protecting brand positioning.

Partnerships

Identify and secure local partnerships that can accelerate Sovras user growth and

distribution (e.g., retail outlets, community orgs, student networks).

Structure partnership activations to align with Sovras growth and brand objectives.

Data & Optimization

Track and analyze acquisition funnel metrics (funded accounts, referral funded

conversion rates, CAC).

Run A/B tests, iterate rapidly, and report weekly on performance.

Provide structured insights to inform growth priorities and product roadmap.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product, Design, and Tech to ensure the growth experience and

product experience are aligned.

Contribute to the development of features that directly enhance acquisition and

retention.

KPIs (Success Metrics)

10,000 funded accounts in Lebanon within 12 months.

>70% retention rate of funded accounts.

Efficient CAC (benchmarked and tracked quarterly).

Growth in referral funded conversion rates.

High engagement across community and communication channels.

At least 5 strategic local partnerships activated within the first year.

Qualifications

Must-Have

35 years in growth, marketing, or community roles at a consumer startup

(fintech, payments, mobile app, or adjacent).

Proven track record running grassroots campaigns, referral mechanics, or

ambassador programs.

Knowledge of performance marketing and KPI tracking (CAC, retention, cohort

analysis, funnel optimization).

Hands-on community management experience (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, or

similar).

Strong execution skills: resourceful, creative, and comfortable with low-budget,

high-impact growth.

Fluent in English and Arabic, with strong understanding of MENA market dynamics.

Nice-to-Have

Prior experience in fintech or crypto marketing.

Background in influencer partnerships and community activation.

Familiarity with CRM/marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Braze, etc.).
