Job Purpose

  • To develop, manage and sustain a profitable, added-value brand and/or product portfolio by understanding, anticipating, creating and meeting consumer needs.
  • Required Learning
  • Business / Marketing Degree or IMM Diploma
  • 2 - 3 years experience in marketing environment within the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) category as a prerequisite
  • Key Job Outputs
  • Brand Strategy Development formulating and implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance and promote the brands identity
  • Market research and Analysis - Conducting research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
  • Brand Positioning: Establishing and maintaining a distinctive brand image to differentiate it from competitors in the market.
  • Product Launches and Campaigns: Planning and executing effective product launches and marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with various departments, such as marketing, sales, and new product development, to ensure alignment with overall brand goals.
  • Budget Management: Responsible for managing the brand budget efficiently, allocating resources to achieve maximum impact.
  • Monitoring and Analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Regularly evaluating and analyzing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and initiatives.
  • Brand Communication: Developing and maintaining consistent brand messaging across all communication channels to build a strong and unified brand voice.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive consumer brand experience.
  • Brand Performance Reporting: Providing regular reports on key performance indicators, market trends, and the overall health of the brand to senior management.
  • Adaptability and Innovation: Staying abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to adapt strategies and keep the brand relevant and innovative.
