Head: Marketing
Job Purpose
- To develop, manage and sustain a profitable, added-value brand and/or product portfolio by understanding, anticipating, creating and meeting consumer needs.
- Required Learning
- Business / Marketing Degree or IMM Diploma
- 2 - 3 years experience in marketing environment within the Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements (VMS) category as a prerequisite
- Key Job Outputs
- Brand Strategy Development formulating and implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance and promote the brands identity
- Market research and Analysis - Conducting research to understand market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to make informed decisions.
- Brand Positioning: Establishing and maintaining a distinctive brand image to differentiate it from competitors in the market.
- Product Launches and Campaigns: Planning and executing effective product launches and marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with various departments, such as marketing, sales, and new product development, to ensure alignment with overall brand goals.
- Budget Management: Responsible for managing the brand budget efficiently, allocating resources to achieve maximum impact.
- Monitoring and Analysis of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Regularly evaluating and analyzing performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of brand strategies and initiatives.
- Brand Communication: Developing and maintaining consistent brand messaging across all communication channels to build a strong and unified brand voice.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive consumer brand experience.
- Brand Performance Reporting: Providing regular reports on key performance indicators, market trends, and the overall health of the brand to senior management.
- Adaptability and Innovation: Staying abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to adapt strategies and keep the brand relevant and innovative.
