Responsibilities:
- Ensure a sufficient and reliable energy supply from internal and/or external sources for IKIP operations and tenants, including demand forecasting, capacity and load monitoring, supply coordination, and contingency readiness.
- Oversee and execute the operation and maintenance of energy facilities—specifically generator sets (gensets), solar photovoltaics (PV), and electrical infrastructure. Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance strictly adheres to HSE requirements, safe isolation/energization procedures, and technical standards.
- Control and supervise all activities within the IKIP Project related to energy utilization, including tenant connections, metering, and external contractor activities, ensuring full compliance and providing management with corrective-action reports.
- Manage energy performance by conducting daily monitoring, documenting operational data, and reviewing KPIs (consumption, power quality, losses, and operating costs). Formulate data-driven recommendations for asset improvement and technical risk mitigation.
- Develop strategic work plans encompassing team capacity building, daily workflow monitoring, OHS protocol enforcement, and emergency/outage response protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Possessing 7 years of professional experience in electrical system maintenance or the energy sector.
- Possessing certifications in Energy Management, SMK2, AK3 Umum, and AK3 Listrik.
- Knowledge of energy management systems / ISO 50001 is an advantage.
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of power generation components, electrical occupational health and safety (OHS), and electrical measurement instruments.
- Preferably experienced in industrial estates, mining, mineral processing, heavy industry, utilities, and/or remote-site operations.
- Practical exposure to power distribution, substations/transformers, protection systems, metering, backup supply/generation, and maintenance planning, as relevant to assigned assets.
- Competency certification in electrical operation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical safety, permit to work, LOTO, switching/isolation, risk assessment, and incident response. - Capability in load/demand management, energy performance analysis, reliability, and maintenance management.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and supervising contractors/service providers and managing stakeholders.
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and technical reporting.
