Study & Civil Operation Manager Wetar

Overview
Leads and integrates the Technical Services, Geology, and Civil Operations functions to ensure safe and efficient mine planning, geological resource management, geotechnical control, mine study development, and civil infrastructure management in support of production targets, reserves, and sustainable mining operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead short, medium, and long-term mine planning to support the achievement of production and reserve targets.
• Manage mine engineering activities, including pit design, dump design, haul road design, sequence mining, and mine optimization.
• Oversee mine surveying, topography, drone surveys, and spatial data validation for operational support.
• Direct geotechnical and hydrogeology studies to ensure slope stability, manage mine water, and mitigate geotechnical risks.
• Manage geology operations, resource definition programs, and maintain the integrity of geological and assay databases.
• Oversee the construction, maintenance, and contractor management for civil infrastructure, including haul roads, drainage systems, and stockpile areas.
• Develop and control OPEX and CAPEX budgets for the Technical Services, Geology, and Civil Operation functions.
• Ensure all departmental activities strictly comply with mining regulations, occupational safety standards, and environmental governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mining Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mining Manager/Engineer or 10 years of experience as a Mining/Engineering Superintendent.
• Certified as Kompeten Person Indonesia.
• Possesses HSE competency equivalent to the K3LH - POU (Pengawas Operasional Utama) matrix.
• Proven experience serving as KTT, Deputy KTT, or PJO in large-scale operations.
• Proficient in operating mining software such as Surpac, Whittle, Deswik, or similar applications.
• Strong competencies in Mine Civil Engineering, Geotechnical & Slope Stability, Surveying & 3D Modelling, and Construction Management.
• Excellent leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills under pressure.
• Willing to be based in Wetar Island, Maluku.
