Risk OHS Intern

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing safety procedures and protocols.

• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.

• Assist in investigating incidents and accidents and providing recommendations for prevention.

• Monitor and report on safety performance and compliance with safety regulations.

• Assist in conducting safety training for employees and contractors.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to occupational health and safety.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.

• Strong interest in risk management and occupational health and safety.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Available for a 6-month internship period.
