Client Relations Consultant
Job Description:
This is a 180° role designed to identify and secure new business opportunities, passing them on to Recruitment Consultants. Through effective business development strategies, the Client Relations Consultant enhances the reputation of The Business and builds a personal brand. The role also ensures an excellent client and candidate experience, driving regular repeat business and supporting overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Sales Activity & Business Development:
- Achieve sales and net fee income (NFI) targets aligned with business goals.
- Generate leads through cold calling, emailing, and other communication methods.
- Build relationships with potential clients through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and digital platforms.
- Attend client meetings to gain a detailed understanding of their recruitment needs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing clients through regular follow-ups.
- Participate in daily business development competitions to increase assignment success.
- Proactively chase job leads from job boards and contribute to business tenders.
- Send candidate profiles to clients via email (E-shots) to generate interest.
- Engage with candidates and competitors to gather market knowledge and leads.
- Build a strong professional network on LinkedIn and engage with new contacts at events.
Client Management:
- Update and cleanse client information in the system, ensuring accuracy.
- Schedule meetings between clients and Recruitment Consultants to discuss role requirements.
- Maintain relationships with clients, keeping Robertson Bell top-of-mind for recruitment needs.
- Negotiate terms and rates with clients and provide consultancy advice as needed.
Candidate Management:
- Maintain relationships with past and present strong candidates to stay updated on market trends and gather intel.
