Senior Executive Search Consultant
Job Description:
As a Senior Executive Search Consultant, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our executive search firm.You will be responsible for managing high-profile executive search assignments, developing client relationships, and identifying top-tier executive talent. Your expertise and strategic approach will be instrumental in helping our clients build strong leadership teams that drive their organisations forward.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients across various industries.
- Understand clients' strategic goals, organizational culture, and executive leadership needs.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insights and guidance on talent acquisition strategies.
Executive Search Process Management:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end executive search process, from initial client briefing to candidate placement.
- Conduct thorough research and market mapping to identify potential candidates.
- Engage with candidates, conducting in-depth interviews and assessments to evaluate their fit for the role.
- Present a shortlist of highly qualified candidates to clients, providing detailed candidate profiles and assessments.
- Facilitate client-candidate meetings and manage the interview process.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the executive search market.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to expand the client base.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to build the firm's reputation and visibility.
Team Leadership and Mentoring:
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior consultants and researchers.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Share industry knowledge and best practices to support team development.
Market Research
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and the competitive landscape.
- Provide clients with actionable market intelligence and insights.
- Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and publications.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in executive search or related talent acquisition roles.
- Proven track record of successfully managing executive search assignments and placements.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align with clients strategic objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust with senior executives.
- Strong analytical and assessment skills, with the ability to evaluate and present top-tier talent.
