Job Purpose
This position responsible to draft, review, and analyze domestic and international contracts. The analyst ensures that agreements are legally sound, operationally feasible, and compliant with relevant shipping and trade regulations. The role also supports risk assessment, documentation management, and legal research to enable smooth shipping operations.
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and manage commercial, operational, vendor, shipping, and logistics-related agreements to ensure alignment with business objectives, applicable regulations, and company policies.
- Provide contractual and regulatory support for day-to-day operational, commercial, procurement, and logistics activities.
- Conduct contract analysis and risk assessments, identify potential legal or operational exposures, and recommend practical mitigation measures.
- Perform legal and regulatory research related to shipping, logistics, commercial transactions, and industry requirements to support business decisions.
- Maintain contract repositories, monitor key contractual obligations, renewals, and milestones, and ensure proper contract lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate contract execution, operational compliance, and issue resolution.
- Prepare contract summaries, risk reports, and management updates to support effective decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations while promoting good governance and risk awareness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Law.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in contract management, corporate legal matters, or shipping/logistics-related agreements.
- Strong understanding of contract law, commercial agreements, and maritime legal frameworks.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and sanctions compliance is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement
