Position Summary

Location: Head Office, Surabaya HQ
Scope of the Role
The Head of Talent Acquisition at Meratus is responsible for leading and executing the companys end-to-end talent acquisition strategy across all business units, ensuring alignment with corporate growth and workforce planning objectives. The role oversees recruitment operations, employer branding, leadership hiring, campus and pipeline programs, and talent analytics, while partnering closely with senior stakeholders to secure high-quality talent across corporate, commercial, operational, and maritime functions. This position drives recruitment excellence, process optimization, and team leadership to build a sustainable, future-ready workforce that supports Meratus long-term strategic ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Develop and execute a company-wide talent acquisition strategy aligned with business expansion plans.
- Partner with senior leadership to drive manpower planning and hiring forecasts.
- Design workforce acquisition plans for corporate, commercial, operational, and seafaring roles..
2. Recruitment Excellence & Process Optimization
- Lead end-to-end recruitment operations, ensuring speed, quality, and candidate experience.
- Establish structured selection frameworks (competency-based interviews, assessment tools, talent mapping).
- Drive continuous improvement in hiring SLAs, time-to-fill, and cost-per-hire
3. Employer Branding & Talent Marketing
- Strengthen Meratus positioning as an employer of choice in logistics and maritime industries.
- Develop campus hiring strategies, internship pipelines, and management trainee programs.
- Leverage LinkedIn and digital channels to enhance employer visibility and engagement.
4. Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale the Talent Acquisition team.
- Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders on hiring decisions and talent market insights.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and People Development teams to ensure hiring alignment with succession planning.
5. Data & Governance
- Build recruitment dashboards and analytics to support data-driven decision making.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations.
- Manage recruitment vendors, agencies, and assessment partners effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience handling large-scale hiring and multi-location recruitment.
- Strong understanding of employer branding, talent analytics, and modern sourcing strategies.
- Experience in logistics, shipping, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is a strong advantage.
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capability.
