We are seeking a highly experienced and self-organized Financial & Commercial Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, finance, or an MBA, with at least 10 years of professional experience in financial and economic matters within Iraq or the Gulf region. This role involves preparing and managing cost systems, assisting in the development and procurement of software for consumer management and billing, reviewing cash flows, and overseeing fixed asset control and financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost System Preparation: Develop and implement comprehensive cost systems at the level of the client and public companies to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Software Development and Procurement: Assist in the development and procurement of software for consumer management and billing systems, ensuring they meet the operational and financial needs of the organization.
- Cash Flow Review: Conduct detailed reviews of cash flows to ensure accurate forecasting and financial planning, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Fixed Asset Control: Oversee the control and management of fixed assets, ensuring proper tracking, valuation, and reporting in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Financial Agreements Review: Review financial agreements to ensure they are in the best interest of the organization and comply with all relevant laws and policies.
- Software Procurement for Financial Management: Assist in the development and procurement of software for financial management, ensuring it supports efficient and effective financial operations.
- Reporting: Regularly report to the Team Leader on financial and commercial activities, including progress, issues, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field from an accredited university.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in financial and economic matters, particularly within Iraq or the Gulf region.
- Proven expertise in financial management, cost system preparation, and software procurement.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and fixed asset control.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with cash flow analysis and financial software systems.
- Knowledge of consumer management and billing software is an advantage.
