We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in Basic Design Modernization to join our partner company's team in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of active service in managing basic design modernization projects, showcasing a robust background in leading complex design initiatives, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional results. The Project Manager will oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage basic design modernization projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand project requirements, define project scope, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and other stakeholders, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and adherence to financial constraints.
- Timeline Management: Create detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and implement necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and maintain quality standards, ensuring that deliverables meet or exceed stakeholder expectations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of active service in managing basic design modernization projects.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certification is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello) and design tools relevant to basic design modernization.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating diverse teams.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
