Job Summary

We are looking for an AI Android Engineer to join our AI for Coding Team, a pioneering group shaping the next generation of software development.

In this role, you will not only design, build, and maintain Android applications youll also collaborate directly with our AI systems (RAG, PR Bot, and fine-tuned language models) to enhance code generation quality, establish best practices, and drive continuous improvement in

AI-assisted engineering.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working on loyalty and retail health platforms while contributing to training and supervising AI models, evaluating AI-generated code, and feeding insights back into the learning loop.

This is a hybrid role where strong engineering meets applied AI innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and optimize Android solutions using modern architecture principles.

Collaborate with AI systems (PR Bot, RAG retrievers, code evaluators) to review, refine, and validate AI-generated code.

Curate high-quality datasets from pull requests and code reviews to improve AI model performance.

Define coding standards and patterns for AI-assisted development workflows.

Manage release pipelines, integrating automated checks and AI feedback loops.

Participate in AI-driven code evaluation sprints and contribute to SFT/DPO training iterations.

Work closely with QAs, designers, and product owners to ensure code quality and alignment with UX/UI standards.

Drive applied innovation by experimenting with new AI tools that enhance productivity, testing, and delivery speed.

Promote a data-driven engineering culture, blending human expertise with AI assistance

Requirements

4+ years of experience in Android development using modern frameworks and design patterns.

Proven experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

Solid understanding of APIs and data handling principles.

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Experience collaborating through Git and pull request workflows.

Curiosity and hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot,ChatGPT, Cody, etc.)..

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an openness to experiment and learn from

AI feedback

Nice to Have

Experience in model evaluation or prompt engineering.

Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks or modular architecture.

Experience integrating telemetry and performance analytics.

Understanding of vector databases or AI retrieval pipelines (e.g., Pinecone, FAISS).

Familiarity with RAG or fine-tuning workflows.
