About the Role
We are seeking on behalf our client, one of the Top Digital HUBs in Europe, an experienced and driven Squad Technical Lead (STL) to guide, inspire, and manage a team of engineers. In this role, you will foster collaboration, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and align technical execution with business objectives to ensure the success of our products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership Team of Engineers
- Lead and manage a team of engineers by providing guidance, mentorship, and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging learning, experimentation, and the adoption of new technologies or methodologies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Align business and people needs within your engineering team, ensuring clarity of vision and alignment on goals.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Own the goal-setting process within your team and hold team members accountable for achieving their objectives.
- Take responsibility for your teams success and the overall impact on product outcomes.
- Continuously seek opportunities for your team to drive meaningful impact and improve processes.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner to identify and hire the right talent for your engineering team.
- Build a high-performing, well-balanced team that thrives on collaboration and innovation.
- Establish and nurture a strong and positive team culture.
- Proactively identify and resolve team conflicts or escalate issues when necessary to maintain a productive working environment.
2. Delivery
- Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and quality standards aligned with company best practices.
- Assign tasks and resources effectively to optimize team performance and meet project deadlines.
- Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery or quality, making informed decisions to minimize potential issues.
- Define and track key performance metrics like development velocity, code quality, and customer satisfaction to measure progress and drive improvements.
3. Technical Guidance
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, ensuring best practices are followed and assisting with problem-solving.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the technology stack used by your team and lead technical discussions.
- Balance technical decisions with both business needs and engineers perspectives.
- Actively contribute to development efforts when time permits.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define the technical roadmap, identifying key milestones and technical requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional and platform teams to define technical solutions, tools, standards, and best practices.
Required Skills
Must have:
- Proven experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Deep technical expertise.
- Experience with goal-setting, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Ability to manage risks and make data-driven decisions to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to align technical execution with business objectives.

About Us Who We Are
The Digital Hub, was created in November 2015 as an external company to manage the organizational challenge required in such a transformation towards a customer-oriented model that incorporates data into the decision-making process and digitalization with the latest technologies.
