Job Requirements:

  • Have a minimum 3 years experience in client servicing in engineering sales.
  • Possess a Diploma preferably in Engineering
  • Able to sell, up-sell and cross-sell
  • Possess a strong positive attitude towards selling and customer service
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Good team working and communicating skills, both verbal and written
  • Analytical and good problem solving skills

Job Responsibilities :

1. Co-ordinate sales efforts to support business growth and achieve sales targets:

  • Identifying and qualifying potential prospects, analysing their buying needs, doing market research and monitoring competitors' movements.
  • Work with Engineer Specialists to jointly respond to clients’ enquiries
  • Coordinate sales activities with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Record sales activities for weekly sales report
  • Attend weekly sales meeting
  • Coordinate sales effort with sales team

2. Grow the business and achieve sales targets

  • Establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with clients by introducing innovative new products and solutions, and providing continuing pre-sales and post-sales support.
  • Provide professional services by visiting current and new clients (if needed) for consultative selling, cross-selling or up-selling the company’s products and/or services.
  • Assist in generating and qualifying new leads to arrange appointments to meet potential clients in person, to do an introduction and/or sales presentation.
  • Provide reports of clients’ sales activities – trend of sales, trend of product sales and buying patterns.
  • Think critically and suggest improvements that might lead to cost savings which will ultimately benefit the clients.
  • Discuss and recommend plans and strategies relating to sales for improvement and implementation with Sales Manager.
  • Contribute to team dynamism by sharing sales and competitors’ information.

Role: Sales role, primarily focusing on account management (70% service current account, 30% hunting new accounts)
