About the job Social Media Analyst

SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYST

Tech Company, Singapore

--

We are currently looking for a Social Media Insights & Reporting Analyst to join a huge tech client for a 1 year contract (with the possibility of extension / going permanent).

The Insights & Reporting Analyst turns raw data into a competitive advantage. You are responsible for measuring the performance of the social media ecosystem, providing the "why" behind the numbers, and delivering actionable recommendations. You ensure that the team isn't just busy, but effective, by maintaining the "Summary" reports and "Documents & Artifacts" that track long-term growth and ROI.

What you'll be doing:

  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across all social platforms (Engagement, Reach, Conversion, Sentiment).
  • Deep-Dive Reporting: Own the weekly, monthly, and quarterly "Summary" reporting cycles, presenting findings to the broader marketing team.
  • Data Governance: Manage the "Documents & Artifacts" related to social data, ensuring tracking links (UTMs), tagging structures, and data sources are accurate and clean.
  • Audience Insights: Conduct regular audience analysis to understand demographic shifts, sentiment trends, and community behavior.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Monitor competitor performance and industry benchmarks to identify gaps and opportunities in our current strategy.
  • Strategy Optimization: Partner with the Content Planner and Campaign Manager to provide data-backed suggestions for content pivots, budget allocation, and platform priorities.

What you bring:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in digital analytics, marketing intelligence, or social media reporting.
  • Data Visualization: Expert-level skills in building dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio, or PowerBI) and advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Platform Tools: Deep familiarity with native platform analytics (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, LinkedIn Page Analytics) and third-party tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch, or Sprinklr).
  • Critical Thinking: The ability to look at a spreadsheet and tell a story, not just list the numbers.
  • Attention to Detail: You are the "source of truth" for the team; precision in data collection is non-negotiable.
