We are currently looking for a Social Media Content Planner to join a huge tech client for a 1 year contract (with the possibility of extension / going permanent).

The Content Planner & Social Copywriter is the voice of the brand across all social platforms. You are responsible for turning strategic objectives into engaging, platform-native stories. By balancing a rigorous content calendar with sharp, punchy copywriting, you ensure that the audience receives a consistent and compelling brand experience every single day.

What you'll be doing:

  • Editorial Planning: Develop and maintain the master social media content calendar, ensuring a strategic mix of evergreen, trending, and campaign-led content.
  • Copywriting Excellence: Write high-converting, platform-specific copy for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and more—adjusting tone and format for each unique audience.
  • Content Ideation: Lead brainstorming sessions to translate high-level marketing briefs into creative social concepts and "hook-driven" scripts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Social Campaign Manager to ensure copy aligns with visual assets and is delivered according to the project roadmap.
  • Artifact Management: Maintain the "Content Bank" and "Copy Library," ensuring all approved taglines, hashtags, and brand voice guidelines are documented and accessible.
  • Trend Analysis: Monitor social trends and platform updates to quickly draft "reactive" content that keeps the brand relevant.

What you bring:

  • Experience: 3+ years in social media copywriting or content planning (agency or in-house brand experience preferred).
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to write for different brand voices and social formats (e.g., long-form LinkedIn posts vs. short-form TikTok captions).
  • Editorial Precision: Flawless grammar and a keen eye for detail; you can catch a typo in a 10-slide carousel at a glance.
  • Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of how algorithms prioritize different types of copy (e.g., SEO-driven captions vs. engagement-driven hooks).
  • Speed & Quality: Ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines without losing the brand's unique "wit" or "warmth."
