ROLE PURPOSE
- Develop strategies and manage operations for the cosmetics product line based on the business needs, from idea development to market launch and sales.
- Oversee purchasing activities with partners, focusing on trading terms and promotional programs supported by these partners.
- Analyze profit and loss (P&L) statements, conduct market and competitor research to formulate appropriate strategies for the products.
- Collaborate with the Marketing department to implement promotion programs and partnerships that drive growth for the product line.
- Responsible for coordinating and allocating goods to ensure the smooth operation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Manage the functions and responsibilities of the department (10%)
- Develop the departments operations to meet the company's growth requirements. Establish regulations and processes related to the work to ensure effectiveness and alignment with the company's current activities.
- Maintain a database of partner and product information for current and future projects.
2. Strategic Planning for Brand Development, Product Lines, and Portfolio in the Cosmetics Sector (30%)
- Analyze and identify trends and product characteristics to build a product portfolio structured around brands, product lines, SKUs, and store formats, in collaboration with the Marketing department and Training Center.
- Establish criteria for selecting products, partners, and suppliers, as well as for market segmentation and positioning (including color, size, volume, formulation, ingredients, packaging, and color trends).
- Approve and oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept development to market launch, including product testing phases and the introduction of new items.
- Analyze and evaluate sales performance (sales in/sales out) across various sales channels to enhance product quality or adjust selections and update the product portfolio accordingly.
3. Develop and monitor plans for inventory allocation (25%)
- Optimize warehouse productivity by ensuring timely coordination of goods and maximizing storage space.
- Ensure sufficient inventory flow to support store operations, drive revenue growth, and enhance customer experience.
- Monitor purchasing processes and compliance with company regulations.
4. Manage Operational Budget (10%)
- Develop annual expenditure plans based on yearly targets, analyze fluctuations, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Establish, monitor, and update actual monthly expenses, and create budget forecasts by predicting product demand in alignment with customer trading activities.
5. Team Management (10%)
- Monitor, supervise, remind, and guide team members to ensure compliance with professional standards and company rules and regulations.
- Build, manage, and oversee the specialized team (if applicable), taking full responsibility for the department's operations and performance.
6. Analyze P&L, conduct market research, and assess competitors to develop appropriate product strategies (10%)
- Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with strategic and potential partners in the product line.
- Select and approve a network of strategic and potential partners, including the categorization of suppliers.
- Analyze sales data to identify partners that align with the company's product development strategy and objectives.
- Research market conditions and competitor performance to propose market-driven business strategies and target customer initiatives.
7. Collaborate with the Marketing Department to implement promotional programs and partnerships that drive growth for the product line (5%)
- Work with brands to develop detailed promotional plans on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute communication strategies for trading programs.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge:
- Education: Bachelors degree or higher in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields.
- Language Skills: Proficient in communication and correspondence.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office.

Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated responsibility and credibility in the workplace.
Other Requirements: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the cosmetics industry.
