Procurement Lead

Qualifications*

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Commercial or a related discipline, supported by relevant training in procurement, supply chain/materials management, HSE, risk management and procurement/SAP systems, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years within the Oil & Gas industry, and appropriate experience in contractor, vendor and supplier management.

Knowledge and/or Experience*

The candidate should have strong technical experience in project procurement, materials management, long-lead equipment, vendor management, expediting, logistics and supply-chain coordination, preferably gained on major EPC projects. Demonstrated ability to manage procurement interfaces with Engineering, Construction, Quality, Operations, EPC contractors and vendors is required, together with experience monitoring vendor manufacturing, fabrication and delivery performance. Previous exposure to brownfield projects and operating-facility environments is preferred, with good knowledge of procurement processes, risk management, reporting, data analytics and systems such as SAP.
