Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in any Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or Information Systems discipline
Functions and key areas
- SharePoint Online, SharePoint (on-prem), Power Platform Administration
Knowledge and/or Experience
- At least 8+ years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator.
- Microsoft certifications preferred.
- Knowledge of SharePoint tools, workflows, and MS Lists and Forms
- Superb collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational, planning and time-management skills.
- Maintain the SharePoint platform, servers, users, content, permissions, and related integrated applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues or malfunctions promptly.
- Provide SharePoint technical support and end-user training.
- Implement data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss.
- Monitor storage space by performing clean-ups and archiving data.
- Review usage and activity reports and adjusting to ensure optimized user-experiences.
- Keeping up to date with cloud developments and technologies
- Maintain SharePoint Online sites and Project Online (PWA). Migrate SharePoint content using built-in functions and 3rd party tools.
- Conversant with relevant IT national and international standards
- Demonstrated experience in project management.

Part A: Job Specification
Job Purpose
As a technical SME, the position is responsible for managing and supporting services managed by Enterprise Portal Team to maintain efficient and reliable operations within the Applications Support section. Provide end-user support to ensure customer satisfaction within the organization. Contribute to projects for quality and flawless execution to meet department objectives. Provide any other additional business needs, as appropriate and identified in the IT Departments business plan.

- Regular contact with end users for supported applications

Key Job Accountabilities
- Investigate operational issues, problems, and requests for support, in coordination with colleagues and other stakeholders, seeking effective solutions and takes appropriate action for resolution
- Respond to requests for support by means of modifications to system parameters, workarounds, reconfiguring systems, training users, or escalating to systems development staff or software suppliers
- Monitor progress of requests for support and ensure users and other stakeholders are kept informed. Take corrective action to avoid or minimize delays
- Produce logical software designs showing for example: processes, objects, data flows, inputs, stored data, and outputs
- Perform tasks associated with operations, administration and maintenance tasks for Business Applications, Database Management Systems, and related Tools & Technologies
- Develop, interpret, and execute test plans to verify correct operation of completed software
- Define, document, and execute small-scale projects (or sub-projects) actively participating in all phases of the project. Identify, assess, and manage risks and issues which might impact on the success of the project
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and assists in presenting issues and solutions
- Ensure compliance with information security policies, procedures, and standards
