11.9.8 - HSE OFFICER

Qualification:

Higher National Degree (HND), or University Degree (Preferably in an Engineering discipline) or an Accredited HSE Professional Certificate Associate membership of a recognized safety institution is desirable.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in the Oil,Gas & Petrochemical Industry, and specifically construction projects (including greenfield and brownfield work).

Thorough knowledge of safe work practices, international standards (e.g., ISO

45001:2018), and procedures.

Conversant with international standards in Environmental Management System.

Trained in any of the following Incident Investigation Software: TapRoot, SafetyCulture, EasyRCA, Tripod Beta, etc.

Competent in the use of PC including MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and any other relevant software.

Experience in the GCC is desirable
