CANTEEN COORDINATOR 

Responsible for dining hall and tea pantry service operations, ensuring efficient food service, maintaining

hygiene standards, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Education, Skills and Experience

Diploma or certification in Hospitality / Catering

Shall have three (3) years of experience in industrial catering, camps, or institutional dining

HACCP Certified

Basic computer skills for reporting

Course certificate in Basic first aid and CPR

Responsibilities and Tasks

Ensure smooth and timely service of meals to all customers

Monitor service quality and ensure HACCP standard process are followed

Handle complaints professionally and ensure quick resolution

Maintain a friendly, respectful, and service-oriented atmosphere

Ensure proper setup of dining hall (tables, counters, service stations)

Monitor cleanliness, arrangement, and overall appearance

Control crowd flow, especially during peak mealtimes

Ensure adequate seating and smooth turnover

Coordinate with kitchen staff for timely food replenishment

Monitor and record food temperature in self-contained digital tablet

Enforce hygiene standards (HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene)

Maintain cleanliness of service areas, utensils, and equipment

Conduct regular checks and report non-compliance

Ensure availability of service items (trays, dispensers, etc.)

Maintain daily service logs and attendance records

Report operational issues, shortages, or incidents to management
