Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
Minimum of 8 years oil and gas process engineering work experience five. Extensive knowledge of offshore projects Engineering. Indepth knowledge of Process engineering design, standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria. Project experience with Tier-1 EPC Contractors. Involved in executing large offshore platforms (i.e. greenfield and brownfield work).
1. Advises the Head of Process and supports the various NFPS Compression EPC(s) project(s) in all Process Engineering discipline related matters. Shall be flexible and team-orientated.
2. Supports PMT Engineering in monitoring the Contractors progress on delivery of the required documents in the Process Engineering disciplines.
3. Provides Process engineering leadership and expertise while supervising and administering Process team. Review and approval of EPC contractor engineering deliverables/ simulations/ calculations, study reports and etc.
4. Performs process engineering studies, calculations, simulations, develop Basis of Design, Technical notes, adequacy assessment and etc. to support the project scope.
5. Plans and schedules the Process engineering deliverables to enable efficient project execution, ensuring technical alignment and compliance with Client operational policies, standards of business conduct and project management system.
6. Maintains close liaison with appropriate members of Engineering Teams and gains alignment with the Engineering Manager on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements.
7. Leads/Participates in key design workshop and ensure that Process design recommendations are correctly implemented and actions closed (Design Review, Lessons Learned, Value Engineering, HAZID,HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, engineering criticality assessment, etc.).
8. Coordinate with Subject Matter Experts with respect to the disciplines involved in delivery of the Process Engineering and ensures endorsement of Process Technical deviations to Company specifications when required.
9. General understanding of multi discipline engineering (mechanical/piping/ instrumentation /etc) and ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams.
10. Accountable for being knowledgeable of lessons learned from previous projects with the same contractor and capturing and communicating Process engineering and design lessons learned for the current project
