Position Brief

The Investment Supervisor is responsible to manage the delivery of a robust DNO&M asset management and investment plan which clearly supports delivery of the Asset Management (AM) Strategy.

Functional Responsibilities

  • Guide team members to deliver group objectives.
  • Maintain Asset Management investment planning process.
  • Monitor changes to DNO&M planning and investment strategies and plans.
  • Implement process for risk identification, assessment and control
  • Research and keep up to date with current and future asset management strategy planning and investment, share knowledge with colleagues and train team members.
  • Provide guidance, monitor and control changes to the DNO&M planning and investment strategies and plans, as well as in all te ndering / contractual matters during the tendering and procurement stage.
  • Support the development and implementation of new Planning and Investment methods and technologies by providing specialist technical intervention and audit support
  • Assist in the communication to Section Heads and Managers the importance and relevance of AM plans to delivery of Client Vision
  • Support the regular team meetings to engage staff with changes taking place and ensure relevant business performance information and expectations are shared
  • Participate in the review of pre-tender documentation including all required pre-approvals, tender plan form, BOQ, SOW and draft tender volumes, Ensure that all embedded information are in line with PWA regulations and procedures.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety Policy and Procedures in the workplace and comply to any new work instructions
  • Perform other duties/ tasks as required

Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in relevant discipline
  • Holder of Accreditation from relevant professional bodies or similar would be an advantage
  • Holder of current/valid Qatar Driving License would be an advantage

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of cumulative experience
  • Experience of working with Asset Management planning and investment policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
  • Experience in working and mapping risk to investment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to communicate with Engineer and understand & manage investment process.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to undertake any work instructed or wide range of investment activity.
