• PRIMARY PROPOSE OF THE JOB:
  • Implements Environmental Monitoring Programs, including the process and domestic wastewater discharge quality, groundwater monitoring, cooling seawater discharge quality, stack emissions and fugitive emissions.
  • Noise monitoring
  • To manage all aspects of waste management including collection, storage and disposal.

2) TASKS PREFORMED:

• Conducts environmental monitoring of all media, i.e. Air, Water and Industrial Wastes by using specialized portable and hand-held equipment. Ensures that the companys monitoring equipment is maintained, calibrated and adequate stocks of Environmental monitoring Equipment / accessories are available at all times.
• Prepares and maintains the Environmental monitoring reports and records which include solid waste, emission to air and discharge to sea inventories.
• Reports finding of the monitoring program to Manager Environment & Sustainability, and brings to attention the environmental non-compliances related to environmental emissions. Participates in formulation and development of the Environmental Monitoring Programs.
• Coordinates with central Laboratory and plants regarding Environmental Monitoring & Waste Materials related issues.
• Manages the Waste Storage Yard, ensuring appropriate Waste Storage, handling and disposal.
• Coordinates with concerned Sections and parties for internal and external transfer of waste including disposal of industrial wastes.
• Maintains Waste Inventory records. Compiles technical information and provides statistics for preparing various reports regarding Waste Management, includes the reviews of waste generation Pattern to identify any abnormal generation of waste.
• Assists in risk evaluation of hazardous waste / substances handling and storage
• Conducts regular site visit and inspections to ensure appropriate waste management and housekeeping in CLEINT.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Secondary (12 years) education following by relevant Diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years experience in Air Quality Monitoring including stacks sampling and analysis, wastewater sampling and analysis
• Good spoken and written English and computer literate.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE:

New Job position of Industrial Hygiene Inspectors has been created to support the day-to- day functions of Sustainability & Environment Department at HSEQ Division- CLEINT.

General Purpose of this job position is to develop and implement all activities related to the Industrial Hygiene Field Monitoring, Inspections and Qualitative & Quantitative Surveys with the aim to minimize health risk impacts and to ensure that all hygiene management related systems are in-compliant with industry.

SCOPE OF SERVICE:

Main Job Descriptions for this position are as following:

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Conduct Industrial Hygiene Monitoring for Physical, Chemical, Biological & Ergonomics Health Hazards associated with Petrochemical operations.
• Plan/Organize various field monitoring programs, such as- Noise Monitoring, Chemical Exposure Sampling, Heat-Stress Monitoring, Illumination Surveys, Radiation Monitoring, IAQ Surveys, Office Ergonomics Assessments, Manual Material Handling Ergo. Assessments etc.
• Data Entry and reporting of industrial hygiene field monitoring parameters.
• Update/upload necessary field monitoring data & reports on Industrial Hygiene Data Management Portal on CLEINT Intranet.
• Prepare periodic HSEQ reports including analysis, tables, and graphics to support department members in presentations.
• Conduct IH monitoring by using specialized portable and hand-held equipment and ensure that the IH monitoring equipment are maintained and calibrated and adequate stocks of IH Monitoring Equipment / accessories are always available.

Risk Assessment and Investigations:

• Assist in conducting IH Risk Assessments and evaluate work operation exposures, production methods, and engineering controls to determine potential contaminant emission sources or related health hazards associated with workplace conditions.
• Assist in conducting investigations of working conditions/site in order to prevent occupational disease and industrial health hazards, with specific reference to toxic chemical substances, and harmful physical agents.
• Assist in developing reports based on the findings of the investigations to ensure mitigation plans are developed and implemented.

Statements and Reports:

• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate departmental statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies and standards.
• Ensure all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental procedures, instructions and controls are adhered to so that the safety of employees, quality of products/services and environmental compliance can be guaranteed.

Minimum Experience:

• 4 years experience in Oil & gas industry, preferably in Industrial hygiene field
