Job Description Highlights:
- A Manages and directs the work of the PMTs Project Controls Department in Qatar and EPC locations and provides support to Topsides, Jackets and Pipelines teams as required to ensure project controls deliverables are met across the Project. Provides training to PMT staff on project controls related functions.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of Project schedule and Contractors schedule development and schedule control including periodic progress measurement, schedule trends and forecasts.
- key member of the project's leadership team, reporting directly to the NFXP Offshore Business Manager. The role is to manage the NFW Project Controls team ensuring that the project delivers the services needed across the NFW EPCI and FEED scopes related to Cost, Schedule and Contracts.
- The role is expected to manage the Project Controls and administrative aspects of the business team, which maximizes value while delivering excellent quality of work and transparency in reporting to stakeholders. Job holder is expected to demonstrate knowledge of group objectives, work processes, procedures, and interfaces, to provide relevant insights in support and delivery of services to the NFW Offshore organization. Major challenges of the role are meeting dynamic and competing demands and interests to all Projects requirements for planning, cost and contracts priorities and ensuring alignment across the NFW Projects.
- Bachelors degree in engineering, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or equivalent professional qualification, technical or knowledge requirements may be waived through relevant work experience.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry particularly within a business-related function. Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience.
- Worldwide experience with IOCs. Contractors and Vendors in particular those involved in the construction of offshore facilities.
