Roles and Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and supporting operations and monitoring solutions using OpenText (MicroFocus) Tools.
- Demonstrating proficiency and deep knowledge of monitoring tools, including APM, NNM, NA, Operations Bridge, uCMDB, Sitescope, and Cloud Optimizer.
- Having an advanced understanding of network and systems administration, with the capability to make configuration changes and optimize performance.
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting techniques to swiftly identify and resolve complex network and system issues.
- Proficiency in generating both standard and tailored monitoring reports.
- Ability to devise and execute proactive monitoring strategies aimed at preventing network and system issues before they disrupt operations.
- Proficiency in conducting comprehensive root cause analysis to pinpoint and rectify the underlying issues responsible for incidents.
- Proficiency in configurating, discovering the IT Assets within CMDB
- Hands-on experience with Azure and Google Cloud Monitoring is considered an added advantage.
- Capability to fine-tune network and systems performance to ensure optimal and efficient operation.
- Effectively managing and escalating incidents to the appropriate teams or higher-level support when necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for productive interactions with internal teams and end-users.
- Participating in scoping, detailed planning, and customer orientation and design sessions.
- Proficient in REST API, Rest client, OPB Integration, and 3rd-party tools integration.
- Hands-on experience in managing Windows and VMware virtualization environments.
- Hands-on experience in managing RedHat Linux environments and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to work in non-standard working hours as required.
- Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify, and isolate technical issues.
