Senior Turnaround Controls & Assurance Coordinator

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Preferred Mechanical/ Instrument/ Electrical or equivalent)

Minimum 15+ years of experience in Turnaround planning & Execution

Demonstrated experience in overall control of Turnarounds in Petrochemical/ Oil and Gas Sector.

Minimum Work Experience

15 years or more of supervisory / senior level experience in Petrochemical/ Oil and Gas industries

Experience in overall Turnaround process control and TA process quality assurance.

Must have experience in at least 15 Turnaround planning and preparations activities. Must have implemented major improvements.

Should possess experience in various risk assessments, audits, stage gate reviews.

good understanding of safety requirements, standards, procedures and applying safe work practices during job planning and execution.

Strong co-ordination, interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to work well both independently and within a team environment and support all plants in Mesaieed and RLOC as assigned.

Key Job requirements (but not limited to)

Excellent knowledge in overall coordination and support to Turnaround Leadership and key stake holders enabling effective planning, preparation, and execution.

Thorough knowledge on identification of risks and facilitating assessments and Lessons Learned exercise and develop mitigations and follow up closure of action items.

Ability to coordinate with various internal and external stake holders for assessments, audits and stage gate reviews.

Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of TA departmental systems, policies, processes, and practices considering international leading practices in order to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Ensure team members comply with all sections policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions and provide guidance so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner across all plants.

Ability to facilitate & coordinate internal /external workshops.

Ability to deeply understand TA process and guidelines and implement changes / best practices.

Establish and analyze TA KPIs, progress trends and provide timely feedback to recover the deviation from plan.

Good understanding of various cost estimation tool and support the planning team in applying them during job planning.

Ability to analyze and evaluate cost effectiveness of all materials and services and provide options for synergies and improvement.

Ability to provide input to build the TA WBS (work breakdown structure).

Good knowledge of various pricing structure for contracts and assist to build the pricing schedule for contracting process.

Good understanding of safety requirements, procedures and supporting the planning team in applying safe work practices during job planning.

Thorough knowledge in developing TA planning milestone/ schedule and framing documents in coordination with stake holders.

Job Description

Facilitate TA job/ scope challenge and optimization exercise as assigned in coordination with all stake holders.

Ability to implement TA planning system requirements and deliverables with all stakeholders to ensure maximum business efficiency.

Support in improving/ developing the TA Planning Application and oversee the consistent implementation of the same in all plants.

Support the team in digitalization efforts to enhance visibility and simplification of process.

Coordinate with other departments in integration of applicable procedures for enhancement of various work process

Coordinate with all stake holders for Post TA action identification and closure and for finalizing and issuance of TA close out reports.

Thorough knowledge of change management process and in coordinating to identification, initiation and review of the process as applicable.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/ service.

Ability to conduct training / engagement with team on latest developments to improve competency / knowledge of team members.

Ability to carry out analysis of planning information / data and provide recommendations to improve quality of planning.

Ability to develop various reporting formats/ template and present various reports / presentation to leadership and senior management as and when required in timely manner.
