Job Description Highlights:
- To establish & steward Radiation Protection Protocols for the NFXP Onshore Project across all EPC Packages including Health Risk Assessment for activities associated with ionizing radiation and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORM).
- To advise the EPC Contractor and participate in formalizing the strategies and tactics relating to the technical and regulatory requirements for the radiation protection program in the NFXP Onshore project.
- To provide oversight on radiation protection programs, including the implementation of those programs, in order to support safe execution of radiation activities on the project.
- Ensure that radiation protection activities in the NFXP Onshore Project are being performed in accordance with the approved radiation protection procedures and Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) regulatory requirements.Ensure all technical requirements such as project specifications, data sheets, etc. are in full compliance with project requirements, standardised processes, and delivered to the highest technical quality standards.
- Provide oversight on the EPC Contractor and specialist subcontractor who will develop, document and implement a Radiation Protection Programs consistent with project and regulatory requirements
- Excellent English skills, strong leadership skills, strong teamwork, collaborative and able to cope with excessive workload.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Physical Science (Chemistry / Physics / Health Physics), Environmental Science, Radiological science or an advanced degree.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Industrial Radio action Protection / Radiation Safety or related field.
- Approved Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) - QATAR, RPO license or Eligible for RPO licensing with the MoECC QATAR.
