About the job SAP Consultant - Project Manager
Role Objective
§ The Project Manager would be responsible to administer & organize multiple projects. The role requires working closely with the Program Manager and Stream Leads to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. The person will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, maintaining project documentation along with related administrative duties.
Key Responsibilities
§ Defines, documents, and actively participating in all phases of the project.
§ Prepares and maintains realistic project schedules (showing tasks and dependencies), and quality plans and tracks all activities against them, providing regular and accurate reports.
§ Prepares and maintains high quality documentation to agreed standards and assists in documentation reviews and sign-off with relevant stakeholders.
§ Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment, and information
§ Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes
§ Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
§ Analyse and document project risks and opportunities
§ Monitor project progress and escalate issues that arise
§ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports
Educational Qualification
§ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant discipline
Professional Experience & Skills
§ 5+ years of proven work experience in a Project Management or similar role
§ Prior work experience in managing largescale SAP Implementation project(s) is preferred
§ Experience in project management, from conception to delivery
§ Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans
§ Ability to document & communicate complex information in a clear and useful manner
§ Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
§ Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
§ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and project management tools
§ PMP/PRINCE2 certification is a plus
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
