Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience

  • 10 years experience in technical roles in petroleum or chemical plants in the field of design, inspection and maintenance of process equipment, with broad and extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, appropriate safety criteria, offshore facilities & structure design, construction and operations.

Technical and Business Skills

  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Strong technical, analytical and interface skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Lotus notes etc. and experience of project management systems similar to QGPMS.



Key Job Accountabilities

  1. Support and co-ordinate implement all requirements for isolation and provide advise on offshore and onshore brownfield enviornment to support the Cleint permit to work requirements which are based on the best industry standards supported by computerised system for the management of Threats and Risks, Mitigation Plan, Discovery Management, Integrity Assessment and Performance Monitoring.
  2. Act as an SME for troubleshooting activities to assist in project delivery for isolation and other intensive brownfield activtiy such as; constructability reviews or model reviews. Review designs, faciltiation Formal Risk Assessments (FRA) per standards and visits all sites requirements offshore and onshore as required to manage any activity.
  3. Provide guidance in pipeline isolation and expertise to EPC and vendors and supports the subcontractors, as required, ensuring alignment on technical needs, objectives, operations requirements are fulfilled through close liaison with PMT counterparts.
  4. Provide SME inputs and stewardship of pipeline isolation scope of work contractural agreements, as required, ensuring quality assurance and production timing of the deliverables is in accordance with the approved project execution schedule and is technically aligned with Client Operations. Provides and developes the relevant data (narrative, charts, graphs, etc.) for monthly progress reporting.
  5. Support timely by providing SME guidance to support closure of a wide array of issues related to Brownfield Fabrication, Construction and Installation.
  6. Provide SME inputs to isolation design in accordance with the project's change management program and accomplish the schedule and critical milestones (LLI procurement, engineered equipment procurement; ROS dates, etc.); develops and stewards recovery plans to address any schedule delays.
  7. Provide SME inputs knowledge sharing by capturing and communicating lessons learned to support review teams and future projects.
  8. Lead site visits and execute scopes where and when required.
  9. Ensure SME technical alignment with Operations; familiarize EPC Contractor with execution plans, procedures, objectives, and overall job requirements; adequate staffing for project; appropriate requirements, specifications, standards and design verification processes.Provide all contract documents and accurate progress measurement and reporting.
