Research Assistant

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Assists the Medical Director and individual investigators in the foundational CMG to make decisions related to research project activities conducted with in foundational CMG by providing up to date and accurate information.
• Under the direction From the Medical Director - Research,Foundation CMG,Tracks all research activities conducted with in Founadational CMG.
• Works with individual investigators to ensure compliance with ethics requirements.
• Works with individual investigators to ensure compliance with biosafety protocols.
• Monitors individual research grants and funds to ensure compliance with Financial rules.
• Assits individual investigators in fulfilling reporting requirement for research grants
• Assists the Medical Director,Research in creating reports to monitor research activities and outputs.
• Assists the Medical Director,Research to identify research projects that are at risk of non-compliance.
• Works with individual investigators and Human resources to faciliate hiring of reseach staff.
• Works with individual investigators and Procurement to facilitate purchasing of services,consumables and equipmnet for research projects.
• Maintains up to date knowldege of related to research activities.
• Updates investigators in the foundational CMG on new research funding opportunities.
• Assist investigators with generating documentation for research funding proposals.
• Works with different Departments with in foundation CMG to develop business models for offering clinical research services for internal and external clients.
• Coordinates seminars,courses,conference, and meetings as required by the medical Director-Research, Foundational CMG
• Follows all sidra-related policies and procedures.
• Attends Committees When appropriate.
• Adheres to standards as they appear in the code of conduct and conflict of interest policies.
• Adheres to and promotes Values.

In view of the evolving needs and opportunities with in,this position may be required to perform other duties as assigned and reporting relationship may vary.
