15.7.38 - SR. MECHANICAL ENGINEER (PIPELINE)

Should have Umbilical & Power cable experience in addition to the specification highlighted in the JD for Sr. Mechanical Engineer (pipeline):

Responsible for technical oversight of all offshore cable / umbilical engineering, design, fabrication, installation, construction and pre-commissioning activities.

Reviewing and approving all relevant Engineering documents throughout the design and EPC phases, which typically include umbilical/cable Mechanical design, route optimization and field layout, on-bottom Stability Analysis, Free Span Analysis, crossing analysis, J-tube design, Installation analysis, Construction, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning Feasibility/Analyses etc.

Competent in use of flexible (cable/umbilical) engineering software with sound knowledge of ISO 16328 and DNV design codes.
