Technician-Painter

Job Title: Technician- Painter

Contract Duration: 3 months

Purpose: Ability to repaint all the vehicles of desired color inside the workshop

Accountabilities

Assess vehicles to determine sags and dents.
Assist denting personnel with taking out dents and sags
Prepare the vehicle to be painted
Match the required colour with the available ones
Mixing of colour to create the required shade
Knowledgeable to use the paainting tools and equipment
To be able to Repaint whole Bus by completing prior preparatory jobs of applying putty, grinding and leveling , and number of Coat paintings until finishing and Buffing.
To use Spray Guns and paint Spray accessories to achieve desired surface finish as of an OEM product.
To work on small job areas of painting where dent beating has been done and completed.
To dismantle of certain components or loose components for painting and Painting the surface with all preparations for a better finished jobs.
To follow all HSE regulation of a Paint Shop, during painting.
To read and discuss the Job Orders before and after the paining of the Vehicle.

Education
Secondary level with Technical Education Certification on Painting of Light & heavy vehicles.
Experience
Spray painting on Cars for minimum 3 years with a reputed Dealer.
Training
OEM Training will be of an Added Advantage.
Knowledge
Good and Thorough knowledge of Spray painting and Paint mixing
