Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Project Manager, the E-Health Project Specialist will provide support in project planning and implementation and coordinate day-to-day tasks. The E-Health Project Specialist will work on multiple project teams simultaneously. Main responsibilities focus on follow up actions that maximize project outcomes. The Specialist must be organized and have a proven ability to track and complete deadline-driven projects. Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask are a must. Strong computer skills are essential (high level skill with Microsoft Office products to include PowerPoint/Excel/Word /Access, as well as Outlook).
Supports Project Managers on all aspects of assigned projects
Plan, schedule, and coordinates management aspects of projects.
Manages, with supervision, some projects or major project components as assigned
Creates and maintains project plans and timelines, including determining tasks, due dates, and milestones in alignment with the Project Manager
Participates in project related meetings and assists with scheduling all project related meetings and communications
Creates and maintains project documentation including meeting materials
Assists with data analysis and reporting functions as appropriate and needed.
Assists with qualitative data collection (interviews, focus groups) and qualitative data analysis.
Ensure the work of the project complies with best practice standards and guidelines.
Identify and report potential or actual patient safety concerns, errors and/or near misses in timely manner.
Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures, and protocols.
Demonstrate a sense of teamwork and effective communication.
Partner with line and project manager to understand risks in area of work, participate in developing a plan on how to mitigate those risks
Ensure that the aspects of patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement are embedded in all the processes under are of responsibility.
Foster a culture of safety, where staff feels encouraged to raise concerns and report incidents without fear of disciplinary procedure.
To collaborate with other leaders for patient safety.
Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard any sensitive information.
Creates and maintains personal work plans to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Management or related field
5 years of experience in relevant field with similar responsibilities
Skills Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Understands data mapping / data translation, data validation
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, meet deadlines and manage to schedule.
Strong Customer Service /communication skills & Detail oriented
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills
Ability to work with and relate to internal and external stakeholders
Able to produce and maintain electronic and paper-based records for services, contracts, and communications with the Private providers.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
