Job Purpose

  • Provide support and lead commissioning and start-up of Offshore projects, including system completion and handover to permanent assets and engage and coordinate with major projects from FEED to EPC influencing project deliverables to reflect OPCO experiences, meet project lifecycle expectations and ensure commissioning and handover is properly and timely carried out.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s) - I

  • Has high degree of independence in execution of task and requires collaboration and interaction with other senior stakeholder to execute function effectively and in compliance with business requirement.
  • Identifying the risks related to interfaces with live facilities and insuring mitigations are applied.
  • Integration of construction activities in alignment with plant shutdowns.
  • SIMOPS planning and management of activities between EPC contractors, Operations group and OES.
  • Optimizing manpower with accordance to project dynamic schedules.
  • Resources integration to minimize waste.
  • Major challenge includes satisfying multiple projects and facility owners in terms of deliverables and operational performance, and multiple Assets in terms of procedures and processes consistency.
  • Total headcount numbers to increase over the period 2024-2029.

Key Job Accountabilities - I

  • Support NFPS Head of Start Up on the assessment of Operational Readiness Plan (ORP), support contracts, spare parts and engineering documentation.
  • Ensuring adequate ORP resources are identified and available within projects and oversee execution of the Operations deliverables for Offshore projects through frequent coordination with Project representatives, discipline liaisons and the permanent organization.
  • Assist in establishing offshore policies, strategies, standards and safety procedures concerning operation of offshore facilities, as well as understanding of operations interfaces with Asset ensuring engineering designs have been established.
  • Facilitate appropriate safety training for all personnel on new platforms and providing leadership in safety management on site in accordance with regulations and guidelines from HSEQ department and Offshore Asset Manager.
  • Coordinate with PMT in identifying corrective measures required to recover schedule for deliverables and identify parties responsible and monitor closure. Identify, assess and mitigate operational risk in all aspects of assigned Offshore projects.

Key Job Accountabilities - II

  • Manage financial and HSE related risks and authorize all necessary requirements to respond to emergencies and is a key member within Level-2 Emergency response team. Ensure compliance to Company HSEQ requirements and that all incidents are reported immediately, and any required follow-up actions are implemented in a timely manner and lessons learned are documented.
  • Determine the competency requirements for the manpower engaged in the operations of Offshore projects and ensure that manpower engaged complies with the work specific and other mandatory requirement.
  • Uphold collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders within E&P, Safety and Loss prevention departments and ensure that optimum support is available for Offshore maintenance and operations asset.
  • Ensure technical support for both greenfield and brownfield projects, including commissioning and start-up maintenance support for offshore asset.
  • Ensure compliance with the  process and procedure during each activity focusing on the work approval process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering.

Knowledge and/or Experience - I

  • 10 years hands-on experience in multi-discipline operations and design, including 5 years experience in commissioning start up within the oil and gas industries and 3 years in a supervisory position.
