Transportation & Installation Lead COMP2

Key Accountabilities

(Duties include but not limited to)

Supervise EPC Contractor activities related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation, mooring and installation.

Ensure marine operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices.

Liaise with Vessel Management Team (VMT) on the status, ongoing and planned activities, highlighting issues and recommending mitigations.

Support engineering on procedure development, constructability reviews and risk assessment.

Job Context & Major Challenge(s)

Very large compression and living quarters platforms fabricated in Far East, loaded out and transported to Middle East onboard self-propelled vessel and barges, installed by various methods including heavy lifting, launching and floatover at existing gas production complex.

Technical and Business Skills

• Marine, Naval, Mechanical or similar engineering degree
• Good communication and interpersonal relationships, effective problem-solving, coordination, interfacing and influencing
