Qualifications

Either in excess of 15 years construction experience or an apprenticeship, diploma in a relevant discipline or degree in a relevant discipline plus experience in a similar role.

Knowledge and/or Experience

Minimum 15 yrs. experience in fabrication, construction, pre commissioning within the offshore oil and gas industry.

Experience with Offshore Topsides and similar construction work at supervisory level and exhaustive experience for the preparation, fabrication, Installation and hydro testing of piping & pipelines pertaining to Topsides with EPCI contractors.

Experience in fabrication, installation and testing of high-pressure piping of solid inconel, alloy 625 CRA clad pipeline, carbon steel, stainless steel, CUNI, GRE etc. materials is essential.

Experience of fabrication and testing of high pressure piping spools having HUBs is important.

Application and in-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and a working knowledge of Industry standards.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • Focal point at site, for promoting and implementing safety on the construction site. Implement and provide safety leadership by example to the Offshore Project Team and the Offshore contractor and its sub-contractors and site vendors
  • Responsible for ensuring the NFXP offshore contractor team Implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.
  • As Offshore Project Teams Construction representative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the offshore Contractor team and its subcontractor(s) in piping and mechanical activities.
  • Reports on the construction activities, progress, areas of concern and mitigating actions to Managment and participate & contribute in weekly construction discipline review meetings.
  • Responsible for implementation of execution activities and ensures development, review, and approval (as required) of appropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution. This includes authorization of COMPANY permits wherever necessary.
  • Reviews and approves the offshore Contractor teams Construction Sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and method statements and participate in Constructability reviews, Hazid workshops during construction to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in piping and mechanical activities.
  • Help in identifying and organising all required construction support (Third Party support, Joint-Venture partner technical support, etc.) in liaison with the Offshore Topsides personnel.
  • Review construction risks and assist in providing mitigation measures. Report Risks to the Managment, review the EPCI schedules Level-3 & level 4 prepared by the Contractor.
  • Monitors site material handling, preservation, and warehousing procedures with respect to piping and mechanical activities.
