15.4.99 - SR. CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Qualification

Higher National Diploma (HND), Diploma in Diploma in Instrumentation and/or Electrical

and/or Mechanical from a recognized University with extensive commissioning experience

of Oil & Gas projects. Good skills in construction management, effective communication,

conflict resolution.

Experience

A minimum of eight to ten (10 to 12) years experience in relevant construction and

installation activities in projects of oil & gas industry.

Experience in and steel structure installation and commissioning of Offshore Projects.

Good knowledge in piping and mechanical installation and commissioning.

Good knowledge of lifting activities to assess the lifting plan and lifting operation.

Experienced in the implementation of construction industry best practices, systems,

processes and standards.

Understanding of construction techniques for various types of work especially the

construction and commissioning activities in Green, brown fields and Well Head Jackets.

Good skills in construction management, effective communication, conflict resolution.

Exposure to works by associated disciplines

Computer literate. Good communication and writing skills.

Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and

environmental awareness.

Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, lifting plan, inspection and test

plans, construction schedules and drawings.

Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.

Ability to supervise, cooperate and coordinate with multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce
