Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Extensive experience in construction as a leadership and supervisory role
Knowledge and/or Experience
- 8 years of experience primarily in the construction of building facilities. International experience, especially Qatar or the Middle East, is preferred.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s)
- As part of the CO2 Sequestration Project Construction management team led by Construction Division Manager, Support for construction execution, risk-based evaluation of complex technical issues, ensuring construction deliverables (Method Statements/ JSA & JHA) are compliant with project requirements, while meeting required Client quality expectations.
- Must be able to manage the respective priorities, drivers and challenges of the stakeholders while maintaining focus on their respective objectives.
- Ensure there is quality, effectiveness and consistency in the Construction processes, systems, procedures, and work products.
- Manage multiple internal and external interfaces across Client and EPC Contractors - require effective communication, initiative, flexibility, and collaboration.
- Works effectively within established policies and procedures and participates in the further development of these to meet changing needs.
- Works on large capital expenditure projects in a highly dynamic team environment that has tight-deadlines, high pressure and visibility, requiring accuracy, initiative and the ability to multi-task as essential skills.
- Demonstrates willingness to tackle a variety of tasks in response to evolving business needs.
